Camera Reunion

Pentax ME Super with Pentax 50mm f1.4
Olympus OM-D E-M5 with Panasonic 20mm f1.7
Panasonic GX1 with Panasonic 25mm f1.4 (currently donated to my brother, he’s home for summer break, hence camera reunion)
My Nikon L35AF was in the car…

    • It’s really hard to recommend a camera without knowing what your needs are… I’ll give you a couple recommendations though:
If you’re not going to invest in more than one lens, I would recommend a good compact/bridge camera. Panasonic LX7 and RX100 are great compacts that come to mine. I don’t know much about bridge cameras but I think Panasonic makes pretty good ones.
If you’re interested in getting multiple lenses and your budget is tight, consider Olympus E-PL1 (can find this as low as $150), E-PM2, or an older Canon Rebel T3i maybe (the newer Canon rebels don’t provide significant upgrades from what I’ve read). Look up Mirrorless vs DSLR cameras.

      • OH great, i have a Nikon Coolpix at the moment and i just wanted a camera for just casual picture taking, nothing proffessional just yet!
